For many of this may be the first time that we've not been able to see our dearest friends and family.
We've not been able to sit, laugh and break our fast together with them and to see them smile
So we'd like to share with you 5 ways to keep connected to your loved ones during lockdown!
1) From a distance:
Think about how you can interact with others without putting your health (or theirs) at risk for example from over a fence or across balconies.
2) Video:
Go beyond texting and use video call as seeing someone’s facial expressions can help increase connection and boost well being.
3) Checking in:
Check in with your friends, family, and neighbours regularly. Wherever you can, assist people in your life who may be more vulnerable.
4) Connect at home:
Get off your phone and spend more quality time with the people you are living with. Play board games, charades, have a chat and just listen.
5) Send a gift:
When you’re far apart from someone you care about, send them a gift as a meaningful expression of kindness and to show that you care.
Staying connected to those you love, but cannot physically be with, is a lofty task. It's often difficult to replicate the joy experienced through quality time with friends and family, and while technology has made it easier than ever to stay in touch, nothing beats giving someone you love a gift.
In these uncertain times we are still ensuring delivery of your favourite gift boxes to your loved ones.
